We are a local technology business located at 218 Plank Rd, Waterbury, CT 06705. We provide computer repair, security camera installation, basic computer classes, and website design services.

2. Information We Collect

Information you send through our quote form

Our “Request a Repair” form does not store your information on our website. When you submit it, the form opens the email app on your own device with a new message addressed to support@techprorepairsllc.com, pre-filled with the details you entered: your name, your phone number, the service you are interested in, and your description of the problem. Nothing is sent until you choose to send that email. Once sent, we receive it like any other email, along with your email address and any other information your email app includes.

Information you give us directly

When you call us, email us, or visit our shop, you may give us information such as your name, phone number, email address, mailing or service address (for example, for an in-home visit or installation), and details about your devices or the service you need.

Membership checkout through Stripe

Our Tech Care memberships are sold through Stripe Payment Links. When you subscribe, Stripe collects your name, email address, phone number, and payment information on its secure checkout page. Your payment card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by us. Stripe shares with us the information we need to manage your membership, such as your name, email address, phone number, the plan you selected, and your payment and subscription status. Stripe’s handling of your information is governed by Stripe’s own privacy policy, available at stripe.com/privacy.

Website analytics and cookies

Our Site runs on WordPress. Like most websites, it may use cookies and similar technologies, and may collect basic technical and usage information, such as your browser type, device type, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit, to keep the Site working and to understand in general how visitors use it. Information on devices you bring us

When we repair, set up, or service a device, we may have access to files and information stored on it. We access that content only as needed to perform the service you requested.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share personal information only as follows:

• Service providers that help us run our business, such as Stripe for payments and subscriptions, and our website hosting and WordPress-related services, which process information on our behalf;
• Legal reasons, when we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or is needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of TechProRepairs, our customers, or others;
